I've added a basic smartphone GUI to BlueAmp.
No released package yet - so go download source and compile new version.
Or wait for a new setup package.

BlueAmp goes open source

After a lot of thinking I've decided to put all the source code that is used to create 'Blueamp' out free in the wild.
I'll upload everything to 'Codeplex'. I will put up a link here when done.

I hope this can make the development of the software go faster, and that people will find it interresting to help out with
, and that others can use the code for their projects, in the same way that i find and use code myself.

I hope to get this done this week.

Hi,

decided to write a little article, been a while since last one.
The past weeks I've been very busy with getting my driverslicense,
I completed it yesterday, so now I have more time to focus.

 

 Newest changes:

  • Sends what song is playing when you change song\play\resume.

 

 

Things that I've been looking into:

  • Cab installer (tested, working, but needs shortcuts on startmenu).
  • Moving and testing new code. trying to catch all bugs.


Future development:

  • Playlist editing
  • "get  current song", almost done, but needs more cleanup. (sends mp3 to the mobile from computer).
  • Bookmark current song


Any suggestions is welcome.

If anyone of you is experiencing trouble while using 'BlueAmp', then it would be nice if you could email me.
You find link to my email under 'contact' on the left side.

I try my best to keep the app running fine, but every now and then a bug surfaces.
And since I only have two devices to run it on (HTC Diamon, HTC P3300) I cannot fetch all of them.

If you find a bug, then please send the following info:

  • Mobile Device Name\Brand
  • Mobile OS version
  • PC Bluetooth device name
  • PC OS \ and X32\X64
  • All error message text.
